If you've ever designed a children's room you're aware that there's a severe lack of stylish (read: non-cutesy) beds that are also playful enough for the ultra-youthful among us. In planning for my client's two kids' rooms, I'm noticing that the bulk of children's beds are all very age-specific -- meaning, they'll be sweet for a year or two until the child grows out of it (and from a designer's prospective, most of them are trying too hard to be cute).
